In Spring of  2006, the City of Chicago built five test alleys as part of Chicago’s Green Initiative. Hitchcock Design Group won an award this year from the American Society of Landscape Architects for their efforts. This talented group is also working on the streetscape project for North Avenue; to run from Austin to Harlem.
